Questions
What counts as a crawl?
One crawl is one pass over a tracked site: the homepage plus the pages it links to, up to 50 pages, with every rule run on each. Manual crawls and crawls triggered by a Vercel deploy both count.
Why not just run Lighthouse?
Lighthouse scores one page in one browser tab, mostly for performance. Carefulship crawls the whole site, adds search, security header, accessibility, and AI-agent checks, compares each crawl with the last, and produces a report a client can read. Different tool, different job.
Is the free audit on the homepage the same thing?
It runs the same rules, on one page, and saves nothing. It does not use your crawl quota and needs no account.
What happens if I run out of crawls?
New crawls wait until your quota resets at the start of the next billing period. Upgrading raises the quota immediately.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in the dashboard. Your plan drops to Free at the end of the period you paid for. There is no cancellation fee.
Do you store my clients' page content?
Carefulship stores crawl metadata and rule results: page URLs, titles, scores, and findings. Full page HTML is discarded after analysis.
