Terms of Service

Carefulship crawls websites you track, runs rule-based checks, and produces findings, exports, and reports for you to review. It is a preview-first tool: it does not deploy, publish, or modify your code or your production site. You decide what to act on.

You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Crawl or audit sites you do not own or are not authorized to test. You are solely responsible for having permission to scan any URL you add.
• Circumvent, probe, or attack the Service, other tenants, or third parties, or attempt to reach internal or private network resources.
• Overload the Service, evade usage quotas, or interfere with its operation.
• Violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until canceled. Fees are charged in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with notice for future billing periods.

You retain ownership of the sites, URLs, and data you submit. You grant us the rights needed to operate the Service on your behalf (for example, to crawl the sites you add and store the resulting findings). Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Service integrates with third parties you choose to connect (such as Vercel, Slack, GitHub, and email). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Findings are generated by automated rules and crawl data; they may be incomplete or inaccurate, and they are not a substitute for your own review, testing, and professional judgment. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carefulship will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
